A Jewelry box of Recycled Walnut and Maple with Lift out Tray and Inset Mirror. Handmade wooden jewelry box using contrasting panels of Maple and American Black Walnut. The walnut is from a tree the city took out in our neighborhood and the maple from the local Second Chance Building Supply, a company that recycles wood from demolished houses. The maple has a very dramatic grain pattern and incorporates a deep crease on the sides that has been lightly stained to accent the lines. This handcrafted wooden container would be handy for use as a small jewelry box for ladies or desktop valet for men. It includes a removable shallow tray close to the top that can slide back and forth along rails to help access the interior. A total of 6 compartments are created with the dividers to help organize your items and the dividers can be completely removed if you have larger items to house inside. The lid rests on the back of the box at a convenient angle when open and has a 3" mirror built into the lid. Everything is assembled with interlocking joints and waterproof glue and given a clear satin finish.
Dimensions: 4 inches (102mm) wide x 5 1/4 inches (133mm) deep x 3 3/4 inches (95mm) tall.
